Clear Mission
CAVR's aim is to reduce armed violence in regions where firearm tracking systems and resources are limited. This includes the implementation of ArmsTracker, a digital record-keeping and monitoring system, which aims to strengthen firearm governance by addressing gaps in national weapons registration, tracking and law enforcement.

Complex Circumstances
Given Papua New Guinea’s social, political, and cultural landscape, the project required extensive research into local contexts, stakeholder behaviours, media trends and best NGO communication practices.

Built for Context
Using these insights, I worked with a passionate team to create the “Goodbye” campaign to support the uptake of the ArmsTracker device on a national scale.
